The headland is part of the "Grand Site" Cap d'Erquy - Cap Fréhel. Its tall pink sandstone cliffs, extensive coastal heathland, dunes, beaches with turquoise waters and diverse wildlife, particularly birds, make it one of the most remarkable natural spots in northern Brittany. Reserved for pedestrians, it can be explored by following waymarked paths affording splendid views and giving access to lovely beaches such as the Plage du Lourtuais and Plage du Portuais.
