The work of Russian landscape artist, Alexandre Grivko, Étretat gardens hug the hillside around a pretty villa. There are few flowers, because the garden is famous for its topiary, featuring some 100,000 evergreen box, yew and holly trees and bushes whose pruned shapes are evocative of waves, shells and the Aval cliff arch. Also, on display are works of art, strewn around the grounds, without forgetting the stunning panorama that inspired so many artists.
