Beschrijving
Eyre Square, also called Kennedy Memorial Park, (the President of the United States received a rapturous welcome in Galway in 1963), lies at the centre of the town. It is home to several monuments: Browne Doorway (Doras de Brún) and the shopping mall that incorporates a stretch of the old walls and the remains of two towers.
