Beschrijving

Glenariff Forest Park is covered with 900ha of woods, mainly conifers, alternating between peat bogs and rocky outcrops. The extremely well-designed Information Centre presents an exhibition on the parks fauna and flora, and the region's mines. There are also waymarked paths; the Waterfall Trail (2.5km) takes you to the waterfall Ess na Larach: its waters blackened by peat foam against a backdrop of lush vegetation.
