Of particular interest is the impressive art gallery, which exhibits works dating from the 17C to the 20C, including paintings by Caspar David Friedrich, as well as numerous Danish artists, a donation from the Berlin collector Christoph Müller. The other sections of the museum focus on the history of the state of Pomerania.
