This lush green island, the largest in a lake in Italy, rises to an altitude of 600m to dominate the blue waters of Lake Iseo. Covering an area of around 4.5sq km, it is ideal for walking and bicycling excursions. We recommend heading for the Chiesa della Madonna della Ceriola, from where there is a vast panorama of the lake and the Alps near Bergamo.
