Beschrijving
On this island 17km long, you can visit the Coast Museum in the peaceful village of Loog. The themes are daily life on the Frisian coast, the history of the lifeboat service and the major role played by dikes. There is also much interesting information on oil and gas drilling in the North Sea. The nature conservation zone of Bill, consisting of dramatic windswept dunes, begins where the village leaves off.
