Beschrijving

The acropolis with crenellated walls affords fine views over the city. Constructed by the Byzantines, this citadel was remodelled by the Ottomans (1425). Inside, there is an arsenal, an underground cistern and a defensive tower. The courtyard houses an open-air theatre.
