The former convent of Peterhausen provides a marvellous setting for the Museum of Archaeology. Its 3,000m2/9,800ft² contain exhibits that range from 4000 BCE up until the recent industrial era. Note especially the exhibition on life in the Middle Ages in the towns of Baden-Württemberg. A section is devoted to past sea and river navigation in southwest Germany.
