Beschrijving
The façade of this cathedral is adorned with a superb rose window and a carved frieze depicting imaginary motifs. The belltower is the work of Marko Andrijić, one of the island's finest stone sculptors (late 15C). The interior features religious treasures such as the diptych of the Annunciation, attributed to Tintoretto or his workshop. Note the Gothic Renaissance canopy of the master altar, adorned with a painting by Tintoretto depicting the town's three benefactors (1550), and the Gothic door of the sacristy.
