The Oulanka National Park showcases the might of water. In its territory, the Oulankajoki, a powerful river is behind Kiutaköngäs, is a series of impressive rapids swirling on red granite. But the park is first and foremost famed for the so-called Bear Circuit, Karhunkierros, an 80km hiking trail. It crosses the most stunning canyons and rapids, and rustic cabins serve as refuges.
