Relive the region's industrial and mining past! At Champ-sur-Drac, the Museum of Times Past is devoted to local arts and crafts, gypsum mining, cardboard production and hydroelectric equipment. After visiting the Monteynard Dam be sure to see the Mine-Image museum at La Motte-d'Aveillans, which pays homage to one of the largest mining sites in La Mure. Continue on to the Pierre Percée. From its 3m-high vantage point, this naturally occurring Triumphal Arch looks out over the Plateau de la Matheysine.
