In Calle San Francisco you will see some of the town's finest balconies: note those of the Casa de los Balcones (17C) at no 3; crafts shop (ground floor) and a small museum (on the first floor) that gives visitors the chance to see inside a bourgeois home. At no 5, the fine residence with a patio and wooden balconies houses the Museo de Alfombras, which is dedicated to La Orotava's carpets of flowers. Opposite, the Casa del Turista (1590) also has a crafts shop and offers a pretty view from its terrace.
