Perfectly integrated into the landscape under a roof-canopy of plants, the finest museum in Vendée (3 100m²) charts the history of Vendée from the prehistoric period to the present day. Visitors follow a timeline through eight sections. In particular, be sure to see the Medieval Millennium, which brings this period to life with a half-timbered shop and church door, and the section devoted to the Vendée Wars, which explains the origins and the main episodes of this movement.
