Beschrijving
At one point all that remained after the earthquake of 1655 that demolished the district was a Christ painted on the wall. In the 18C, Las Nazareñas was built on the site and to commemorate the miracle, each 18 October a Procesión du Señor de los Milagros takes place. A copy of the fresco is paraded through the area and the faithful flock here by the thousand. A unique demonstration of faith.
