Situated in the citadel (the castle), this church was founded in the medieval period but was rebuilt during the Spanish era and embellished with a new façade in the 19C. The neighbouring cloisters date back to the Norman period. The staircase of Via del Concordato opposite was hewn directly out of the perimeter walls in the early 20C.
