Located in two separate buildings, the west wing of the Hieronymites Monastery and the Galliot Pavilion, the Museu de Marinha is dedicated to Portugal's seafaring past. It exhibits numerous model ships, including vessels, frigates yachts, merchant navy liners, model warships and fishing boats. One large room is dedicated to discoveries and the navy from the 15C to 18C, and also presents old maps.
