This museum managed by the EDP Foundation (Energias de Portugal) occupies two buildings. The lovely brick building is an old power station, whose facilities have been preserved to illustrate the history of electricity. The other building, inaugurated in 2016, is all curves and wavy lines. It hosts exhibitions by contemporary artists from around the world who explore the themes of the city and modernity, technology and scientific advances, including their social implications.
