The Kaisergebirge, located in the Tyrol Land, is depicted by two impressive mountain ranges, the Wilder Kaiser to the north (2 344m) and the Zahmer Kaiser to the south (1 977m). It is renowned for its climbing, ski resorts (Kitzbüheler and Wilder-Kaiser/Brixen Valley) and superb landscape of mountains and rivers. Much of the area is a protected nature reserve.
