This excursion will let you discover the beauty of the forest of Buçaco. There you will see the Ermida da Nossa Senhora de Assunção, which is one of the isolated hermitages in the forest where the monks used to retire and the Fonte Fia, the cold fountain, which plays in a grotto from where its waters run down in a waterfall. The path bordered by magnificent tree ferns then follows the course of a stream and leads to a lake beside which stand several thuja trees.
