The porta de Coimbra, built at the same time as the surrounding wall in the 17C, has rockwork decoration. Two marble plaques placed on the outside facade reproduce the text of two papal bulls. The arches open onto a pretty terrace set up as a belvedere from which there is an especially pleasant view at sunset.
