De beoordeling van de Michelin Gids
This typical Karen village is an attractive sight, with its pretty wooden houses on stilts, roofed with palm leaves. Watch the local women, dressed in traditional sarongs and tunics in fuchsia and orange tones, as they go about their daily tasks, such as sifting the rice and feeding the black pigs, while the adolescents play takraw, a game which has some similarities with volleyball. Among all this activity, the old men of the village sit back and observe the world go by, as they smoke their long pipes.
