Running from the Pharo to the Prado, this part of the coast is one of the most spectacular in Marseille, boasting fine views of the bay and its islands. Offering a footpath for pedestrians and a cycle lane for cyclists, the route overlooks the sea and is very popular with joggers and walkers. Despite its popularity, it nonetheless offers unspoilt areas with cobbled paths shrouded in greenery, quiet gardens with beautiful Mediterranean plants and the occasional deserted cove.
