Beschrijving
Concealed amid the partly derelict medieval fortifications overlooking the city, this Renaissance castle (15C-16C) belonged to the Malaspina family, who remained powerful until the 18C and commissioned another residence, the Palazzo Cybo Malaspina, which today houses the prefecture.
