To come upon the grandiose Chassezac Canyon all of a sudden, as it winds its way along the feet of cliffs full of holes, turn left off the road going to Mazet beach into the first large car park, then take the path marked "Corniche", which will lead you to the edge of the great cliffs that overlook the deep gorge. The mountain path, carved into the rock face at a height of 80m, continues to the left, passing in front of the Château de Casteljau, until it reaches a belvedere located a little further up.
