This museum is well worth the trip south from the city centre. A close friend of painter Diego Rivera, Dolores Olmedo Patiño acquired some 145 works by the artist - the largest collection ever constituted - exhibited in this 16C hacienda nestled in a splendid garden. Other pieces on display here include pre-Columbian artwork, and paintings by Russian artist Angelina Beloff and by Frida Kahlo, Diego Rivera's wives.
