One of the main traffic arteries of Miami Beach, Collins Avenue boasts such lauded 1940s Art Deco hotels as the National (N° 1677), the Delano (N° 1685) and the Ritz Carlton (N° 1701), whose distinctive cubic facades and quirky central tower cannot be missed. On 44th Street, a mural by Richard Haas bears the trompe l'oeil image of a triumphal arch framing the Fontainebleau Hilton Resort and Towers. The real Fontainebleau however lies just around the corner.
