A houseboat can surf! This is what we learn during a 3 km walk along the water, which takes us with rare pedagogy from the industrial site where the reception is housed to the belly of the machine. Faced with competition from road and rail transport, it was important that the barges move quickly. The water slope system proposed by Jean Aubert in 1971 was to double the locks of Montech on a diversion of the canal.
