Built in the 13C, the Ducal Palace was rebuilt after the victory of René II over Charles the Bold. Its austere façade, now cleaned and restored, is adorned by a superb, elegant doorway built in the 16C by Duke Antoine. This remarkable door crowned by an equestrian statue of Duke Antoine of Lorraine is a mix of Flamboyant Gothic and Renaissance styles. The palace is now home to the Musée Historique Lorrain.
