This indoor shopping mall, comprised of three-storey shops and houses in Rue Santeuil, was built on the initiative of a notary in 1843. A listed monument since 1976, it is one of Nantes' most endearing buildings with its metal and wooden staircase, the steps of which are adorned with mice, fluted columns, open-worked balustrades and cherubs bearing torches. The parallel Passage Coeur was opened in 2015.
