The lighthouse is built on a fort on the furthermost promontory of a cliff. Behind, ad lower down, an iron staircase leads to a rock beaten by the raging waves (to be avoided with children). On the right, a path (15min round trip) leads to the north beach, where the waves break in powerful rolls.
