Beschrijving
To the north of the New World Trade Center and the Financial District, Tribeca was temporarily deserted in the wake of 9/11. It has gradually been coming back to life of late, although it is still off the main tourist tracks. Its intriguing mix of warehouses-cum-arty loft conversions, art galleries and smart restaurants has turned it into a less brash version of Soho, in the heart of Downtown.
