The mountains between Nice and Menton, which drop suddenly into the sea, are crossed by three legendary roads that skirt the coast: the Grande, Moyenne and Basse Corniche. The highest is rich in stunning panoramas, the second commands sublime perspectives, while the low cornice takes you past elegant coastal resorts.
