Beschrijving
This is Catalonia's best example of a volcanic landscape. It covers a surface area of 15 000ha. Strombolian volcanic cones, explosion craters and basaltic lava flows lend the terrain its distinctive look. The plant life is rich and varied, especially in the Fageda d'en Jordà Nature Reserve, and the scenery quite breathtaking. Visit Olot's Volcano Museum to find out more.
