The quayside of Orebic has retained part of its air of splendour, particularly to the east where most of the captains' Baroque houses built under the Republic stand. Shaded by palm trees, the promenade skirts the luxuriant gardens of the villas. To the east, it leads to the beach of Trstenica (15min walk), the most attractive of the region.
