Beschrijving
This botanical garden created in 1621 is the oldest in England. It has a good view over the spires and towers of the colleges, and of the Cherwell, on which punts glide in the summer months. The gates date from c 1630 and were designed by Nicholas Stone, who took inspiration from Italian art.
