Beschrijving
The Printemps department store, a showcase of fashion featuring all the top designers, was opened in 1865 by Jules Jalupot, and along with its neighbour Galeries Lafayette, it is literally taken by storm at sale time. It was the first store to be equipped with lifts and has been the property of Qatar since 2013. The stunning 1923 dome roof, by master glassmaker Brière is all that remains of the original store.
