The Inn flows at the foot of the Schaiblingsturm (1481), which was formerly a salt warehouse. A terrace has been laid out at the meeting point of the green Inn with the muddy brown Danube and the black waters of the Ilz. From the bank of the Danube there is a fine view of the Georgsberg and Oberhaus fortress. Similarly, walk up the Inn embankment to the Fünferlsteg footbridge and cross over to the right bank - the view over Passau is quite breathtaking.
