Stefan Hindlijan's House, hidden behind high walls, once belonged to Armenian merchants. Today, it is generally held to be the finest house in Plovdiv. Its particularly harmonious façade (white friezes against a pale-blue background) is preceded by a vast courtyard. The interior is depicted by murals and carved ceilings. The plush furniture and hammam are relics of an oriental life style.
