Beschrijving
It houses one of the most sacred areas of Pompeii, dating from the 6C BC. In front there was a majestic propyleum, and several of its Ionic columns can still be seen. Its small Doric temple dedicated to Athena and Heracles, is one of the few remnants of the early town.
