This museum in the Carrancas Palace has permanent collections of Portuguese painting and sculpture, including, in particular, sculptures by Soares dos Reis (1847-1889). Portuguese painting from 1850 to 1950 is represented by paintings by Silva Porto, Henrique Pousão and others. You will also see old paintings and ceramics, furniture, goldsmiths' work and religious art.
