The rugged, rocky peninsula of Portofino features an indented coastline dotted with tiny sheltered bays, part of which has been designated a nature reserve to protect the fauna and flora. Numerous footpaths, some scenic roads such as those leaving from Santa Margherita to Portofino or San Lorenzo della Costa, viewpoints such as the Belvedere di San Rocco and Punta Chiappa, and the little fishing villages of Camogli and San Fruttuoso are just some of the highlights of this beautiful peninsula.
