Much of the cachet of this peaceful rectangular square, laid out in the 18C, is due to its arcades. The locals come here to meet beneath the lovely vaulted ceiling of the welcoming Ca e Boba. In the centre of the square is a pillar, erected in the Baroque style in 1749 and sculpted by Venetian artist Gabriele Granicio, in memory of those killed by the plague epidemic. The immaculate Holy Trinity Church is pleasantly low-key and austere.
