This monastic complex is composed of buildings from various periods: the medieval edifices were remodelled in the Baroque style in the mid-17C by Carlo Lurago; the upper floor of the wing facing the Vltava is neo-Classical; the main building was renovated in the Secession style in the first decade of the 20C. The place is now a venue that regularly hosts temporary art exhibitions and houses the Charles Bridge Museum.
