Visitors to this palace are transported back to the 18C, s they pass through rooms decorated with furniture and objects (Queluz is also a decorative arts museum). The sumptuous Throne Room, recalls the Hall of Mirrors at Versailles, with its false doors decorated with mirrors. Note also the ceilings in the Music Room and the princesses' rooms. The Azulejos Room owes its name to the magnificent multicoloured azulejos from the 18C depicting the countryside of China and Brazil.
