Beschrijving
This eclectic museum covers the history of art from Egyptian Antiquity to contemporary creations, Breton culture to the Italian Primitives. It has some noteworthy pieces, such as The Tiger Hunt by Rubens, the famous Newborn Christ by Georges de La Tour, The Bather by Picasso and the superb Wave Effect by Lacombe (1893). The reconstituted cabinet of curiosities that started off the museum plunges you into a delightful collection of objects of all sorts, interspersed with 18C paintings and furniture.
