Beschrijving
A majestic doorway gives access to the courtyard of the Hôtel de Cheusses (17C), the former Navy Commission building which now houses the Naval Museum. The museum is home to a superb collection of models of ships, fine figureheads, navigation instruments, weapons, flags and other items, each telling their own part of the history of the French Navy and of the Rochefort's shipyard.
