From the Ranc-Pointu belvedere it is possible to make out striae, potholes and caves - various phenomena caused by erosion. A landscape of gorges quickly makes way for a cultivated valley which widens as its approaches the Rhone. To the right, admire Aiguèze, clinging to a rocky crest overlooking the Ardèche.
