Hyde Street Pier was formerly a wooden ferry terminal for Sausalito and Berkeley before the city's two largest bridges were built. It is now an open-air museum and displays a rare collection of historic ships. The museum depicts life on board the sailing vessels that went around Cape Horn, ships that navigated in Alaska and old tow boats. Temporary exhibitions.
