The vast and remote Isla del Coco boasts a volcanic terrain that is irrigated by superb waterfalls and covered with dense forest; no humans live here but it is home to the highest number of native species in the country! This incredible spot inspired both Stevenson (Treasure Island) and Spielberg (Jurassic Park). Popular with divers.
